1. Każdy TV z HDMI może być 3D [ISE 2012]

   

   3D NOW Theater (fot. 3D NOW)

   Amerykańska firma 3D NOW przedstawiła na targach w Amsterdamie proste i bardzo funkcjonalne rozwiązanie. Mały adapter wpinany do dowolnego telewizora ze złączem HDMI pozwala na oglądanie w trójwymiarze.

   Urządzenie o nazwie 3D NOW Theater umożliwia odtwarzanie treści 3D na dowolnym telewizorze lub projektorze o rozdzielczości HD. Warunkiem jest posiadanie odbiornika ze złączem HDMI, ale jest to standard dla urządzeń HD. Telewizor bądź projektor musi mieć częstotliwość odświeżania ekranu z przedziału 60 – 120 Hz.

   3D NOW Theater odtwarza materiał z większości dostępnych na rynku urządzeń wspierających ten format. Są to odtwarzacze Blu-ray, konsole do gier, dekodery telewizji kablowej i satelitarnej. Co ciekawe, adapter rozpoznaje 26 standardów przekazu materiałów 3D. Producent zapewnia wsparcie techniczne i aktualizację oprogramowania urządzenia w przypadku pojawienia się jakichkolwiek nowych standardów.

   W zestawie z adapterem są również aktywne okulary migawkowe. Producent twierdzi, że w przeciwieństwie do konkurencji jego okulary zapewniają płynność obrazu 3D, a także utrzymują synchronizację podczas obracania głową. Okulary mają wysoki współczynnik kontrastu oraz szybki czas reakcji. Są na tyle duże, że bez problemu można je włożyć na własne okulary.

   Równolegle ma być wprowadzona na rynek wersja TheaterPlus+. Będzie można podpiąć do niej kino domowe w standardzie 7.1, a także zmienić podstawowe parametry przekazu obrazu.

   Oba produkty mają pojawić się u autoryzowanych dystrybutorów wczesną wiosną tego roku. Mogą być bardzo ciekawą opcją dla wielu osób, które jakiś czas temu zainwestowały w dobrej jakości telewizor i nie chcą wydawać pieniędzy na nowy z możliwością odtwarzania 3D. Producent nie podał jeszcze ceny urządzeń, nie należy jednak oczekiwać, że będzie to bardzo drogi sprzęt.
